In his speech, the Minister, apart from funding and setting up more hospitals, also focused the need to grow more medicinal plants. He assured that Ayush Ministry will provide assistance to this end.

Cultivation of medicinal plants will open new avenues of earning for people. And, with the development of Ayush facilities, local demand for medicinal plants will notice a hike.

Urging people to come forward and cultivate medicinal plants, Dr Mahendrabhai distributed saplings of medicinal plants among the people at Khumulwng.
