Later, around 10-15 persons armed with machetes, rods etc reached the spot and attacked Anwar Hussain.
Meanwhile, members of Anwar also reached there and a full-fledged clash ensued.
Shocked local people witnessed as the members of two groups attacked each other. Police swung into action promptly and brought the situation under control. As the condition of Anwar was critical, he was referred to TMC from the local health center.
