Tripura Pradesh Congress came down heavily on the BJP-led State Government for providing jobs to outsiders under the pretext of ‘outsourcing’.  Congress also cleared its stance on forging alliances with other political parties.

AICC in charge of Tripura Dr Ajay Kumar said, the incumbent Government is relying on outsourcing and giving jobs to people of other states.

Addressing a press conference in Agartala on Wednesday alleged, there is no rule of law in the State as Opposition leaders are frequently coming under attack. He also criticized the government for its ‘pathetic’ condition in the State power sector. He claimed, Tripura was self-reliant in electricity during the UPA regime – however, at present, the State is experiencing load shedding.

Talking on the alliance issue, Dr Ajay Dr Kumar dispelled ‘rumor’ of alliances with Congress or TMC, he did not mention anything specific about TIPRA Motha. He said, Congress will be renovated with the ideals of Gandhiji and fight the polls to win.

In this connection, Dr Kumar referred to ‘Gandhi family’ and said, no one in the country made so much contribution to Nation building like the members of the Gandhi family.  He said, Congress is the only hope for the people of the country – Congress is the biswas of people.

Dr Kumar said, lashed out at Trinamool Congress for its attempt to expand party organization in Tripura. He said, “Congress does not reckon TMC as a Political force in Tripura”.
