TTAADC delegation mets CM in courtesy visit
A delegation of TTAADC administration made a courtesy visit to Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday. Dr Saha took oath as the Member of Tripura Legislative Assembly on July 8.

The delegation led by Chairman of Tipra Motha cum MDC of the TTAADC, Pradyot Kishore Debbarman met the Chief Minister today in a courtesy visit ‘as per protocol’.
It was not a political visit, Debbarman told the media.
Among others, TTAADC chairman Jagadish Debbarma, Deputy Chief Executive Member Animesh Debbarma and CEO of TTAADC, C K Jamatia were present.
Notably, Tipra Motha is controlling the TTAADC after ousting CPI- M in District Council polls last year.
Speaking to the media, Pradyot Kishore Debbarman said the delegation invited Chief Minister Dr Saha to visit the TTAADC and review the prevailing situation there.
Debbarman also briefed Dr Saha on the issues relating to the development of the people of TTAADC.
Talking about issues in TTAADC, he said there is long list of issues including the lack of funds, unemployment etc.
Recruitment: Youth wing of CPM holds rally
The Tripura unit of DYFI and TYF – youth wings of CPI-M held a rally in Agartala on Saturday.
Speaking to the media, State president of DYFI, Palash Bhowmik said the rally was conducted in support of four-point demands pertaining to recruitments in different departments.
” We are demanding publication of results of the JRBT and start recruitment without delay. Our 2nd demand is related to shortage of teachers – we are demanding recruitment of all the TET qualified teachers and holding TET twice in a year”.
Bhowmik also demanded recruitment of nurses and health staffs to revamp ‘collapsed’ health care system in Tripura.
Besides, the youth leader also demanded permanent jobs for the terminated 10,323 teachers.
