March 09, 2018: The new Government under leadership of Biplab Deb will usher new dawn in Tripura and the BJP-led Central Government would extend all possible assistance and co-operation to ensure all round development of the State, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi this today in Agaratala Assam Rifles Ground while presiding over the swearing-in ceremony of first ever BJP Government in Tripura. He also urged the Opposition – CPIM MLAs who have experience of ruling the State for long years, to extend support in the initiatives of development of the State. He also stressed on people’s participation in the development initiatives.
“I urged to everyone including the Opposition MLAs to put up a united effort for attaining rapid development. Opposition MLAs have long experiences while our’s is a new and young but highly ambitious and dynamic team. If both the experienced and dynamic group work together nothing can prevent the State from prospering and becoming a ‘model State’ in India very soon”, the Prime Minister said.
Mentioning about his Government’s priority, Modi said, BJP-led Government has accorded highest priority for the development of North-Eastern Region. He also said, the new Government will work for people who voted for BJP and people who did not vote for BJP. Expressing heartiest gratitude to people of Tripura and hard works of Party workers, PM Modi started his speech in Kokbarok and ended in Bengali.
Earlier, new Chief Minister Biplab Deb offered humble greetings to all and pranams to elders. He promised to work for betterment of the State. During the whole swearing-in ceremony, the ambiance was full of joy, enthusiasm and aspirations.
