October 7, 2017: Prices of CNG and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) have gone up and new price regime came into effect from October 1 for PNG consumers and from October 7 for CNG customers.

In a statement Joyjeet Chaudhuri Head(Marketing) of TNGCL stated on Friday, CNG prices have been hiked by Rs 2 per Kg from existing Rs 38 per kg to Rs 40 kg. Prices of PNG supplied to Households have been increased from existing Rs 16.50 per unit to Rs 17.30 per unit while in case of commercial and industrial units, prices of PNG have been raised from Rs 20 per unit to Rs 21 per unit. New prices shall remain in force till March 31, 2018.
