Tripura: BJP holds CPIM liable for farmers’ plight

October 24, 2017: Leaders of BJP today hit out at Leftist Government allegedly for depriving and deceiving farming community in Tripura. State president of BJP Biplab Deb held CPIM-led Left Front government for farmers’ plights. Addressing a sit-in demonstration organized by Bharatiya Kishan Morcha (BMS) today in Agartala, Deb alleged CPIM is playing ‘dirty political game’ with the farmers. He demanded compensation for flood affected farmers in the State.

BMS organized the demonstration in support of 11-point demand including free of cost distribution of agricultural instruments to farmers. However, leaders maintained an observed silence on farmer’s condition prevailing across the country.
