Agartala/Teliamura: A wave of grief has swept through State political circles following the death of Dinesh Chandra Saha, husband of Teliamura MLA and Tripura Legislative Assembly Chief Whip Kalyani Roy Saha. He reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest while asleep and passed away in the early hours of Wednesday.
CM Dr Manik Saha Visits Bereaved Family
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha visited the residence of the bereaved family to offer his condolences. Speaking to reporters, he said Dinesh Chandra Saha died after suffering a cardiac arrest during his sleep.
The Chief Minister also shared a condolence message on social media. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the family.
He also prayed that the family receives the strength and courage to overcome the irreparable loss.
Ministers Express Deep Sorrow
Several ministers expressed grief over the sudden demise.
SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das said he was deeply saddened by the news. He offered prayers for the departed soul and wished strength and patience for the bereaved family.
Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury also expressed profound shock and sorrow. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences and prayed that the family finds courage during this difficult time.
