December 19, 2017: Buoyed after twin wins in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, Tripura unit of BJP today makes a loud call to all, especially minority communities, to dislodge CPIM from Tripura and ensure victory of the saffron party. In a clear attempt to woo the Minority and Tribal communities and urged these communities to align with BJP for development.
In a press conference today in Agartala, State BJP president Biplab Deb accused ruling LF government for destroying the State and urged the members of Minority communities to work with BJP in tandem for ousting CPM from Tripura. “The LF Government is misusing central funds pushing the common people in lurch”, Deb said,
Saying that Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Poll results will cast positive impact for BJP in Tripura, State BJP prabhari Sunil Deodhar said, the results will encourage BJP supporters. Taking a dig at LF Govt, Deodhar said, Marxism made exit from Tripura long ago and now only Mafia-ism is in practice. Talking about forthcoming election, Deodhar said, this time it will be battle between CPIM and BJP, not CPIM versus opposition parties like previous polls.
Both Deb and Deodhar said, CPIM era in Tripura will come to an end after ensuing Assembly polls.
