February 26, 2018: Re-polling in six booths of six Constituencies in Tripura concluded today peacefully without any incidences of violence. The Chief Electoral Officer Sriram Taranikanti today said, total 90.58 per cent votes were cast in six booths peacefully amidst tight security.
The CEO said, “As many as 5056 out of 5882 assigned voters have exercised their democratic rights in repolling of the six booths. The polling passed off peacefully.” Polling started from 7am in all the six booths and ended at 4pm.
22/26 No booth under Sonamura AC, 23/8 No Booth under Dhanpur AC, 28/45 No Booth under Teliamura AC, 40/48 No Booth under Sabroom AC, 41/37 No Booth under Ampinagar (ST) AC and 54/9 No Booth under 54-Kadamtala-Kurti assembly constituency.
