September 29, 2018: Invaders destroyed 40,000 temples – we are not demanding all of those temples, but only three temples namely Ram Mandir, Mathura Krishna Mandir and Kashi Viswanath Mandir.  Dr Subhramanian Swamy said this in Agartala today and quipped, “We urge Muslim community to accept it, otherwise you may lose all of those 40,000”.  He exuded confidence that Ram Mandir at Ayodhya will be built at the same place which according to crores of devotees believe to Lord Rama’s birth place.

Dr Swamy was delivering a lecture on ‘Fundamental Duties’ of Indian Citizens under Article 51A. The programme was organized by Tripura Unit of Sanskriti Gaurav Sansthan in Agartala.

Maintaining his own style of aggressiveness, Dr Swamy also made statements on re-writing Indian history books and death of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

In his speech, Dr Swamy stressed on Indian-ness and one-ness based on Hindu heritage and shared culture of the country.  He strongly pitched for culture of Sanskrit language in this context and urged people to check what Googling on ‘NASA and Sanskrit’ produces – It is being agreed that Sanskrit is the most advanced and useful language for computers. Once again referring to Google search results, he said, St John’s School of London teaches Sanskrit to students of age 6-14 years as reciting Sanskrit slokas enhance improvement of brain.

He said, Hindu-ness is quite different from Hindu religion – as Hindu-ness implies a righteous and value based life style. In this contest he also said as per national and International genetics journals, DNA of Indian citizens are same – irrespective of castes, creeds and religions.

“We expect that the Muslims in India agree that their ancestors were Hindu. However, if they claim that they are descendants Ghori or Gajni etc, we are left with no other option, but to fight”, he quipped.

And finally, he made a statement about Netaji’s death which is likely to stroke controversies –  he said, “Subhash Chandra Bose did not die in plane crash. It was eyewash to hoodwink the British. Joseph Stalin got Subhash Chandra Bose killed in Russia. The truths are already coming out but it should be done slowly or the jolt will be too much”.

In the programme, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma who was also present in the programme said, every culture in the country is Indian culture. “It is time for assimilation to preserve our heritage and composite culture”, he said.

Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki also spoke on the occasion. He said, unlike rest of the world, India is a cultural Country, which is based on values. He also highlighted richness of Indian culture and spoke about concepts of State and Dharma.
