December 23, 2018: Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb stressed on malnutrition free and said that the State Government had initiated actions to eradicate incidence of malnutrition from Tripura.
The Chief Minister said this while speaking at the Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra Tripura Rajyotsav 2018 in Agartala. Attending the programme in which thousands of devotees assembled, Deb sought blessings from Adarniya Acharyadeb ji for the welfare and prosperity of 37 lakh men and women of Tripura.
Biplab Kumar Deb focused on measures taken by the State Government under his leadership for Transforming Tripura. Detailing about his Government’s vision, he said, making ‘Kuposhan Mukt Tripura’ (Malnutrition Free Tripura) is an integral part of their vision and they are making extensive efforts to achieve this objective.
Reiterating his Government commitment to attain PM Narendra Modi’s vision of doubling farmers income in the state, he mentioned about recently launched paddy procurement by FCI at MSP in the State. He also detailed about how this measure will ensure that farmers receive MSP for their produce and shall help them in increasing their incomes.
Biplab Kumar Deb stated that the people of the state are witnessing a ‘Transformation through Transportation’ in Tripura. The CM spoke about various completed and ongoing National Highway projects in the state and also mentioned how with access to Chittagong and Ashuganj ports in the coming months, Tripura shall become a new Gateway for North East India making the state the Economic Hub of the region.
The CM stated that while performing his duties as the Chief Minister of the state, he tries to live up to the ideals espoused by the revered Thakur Anukulchandra ji and selflessly work for the welfare of the people of Tripura.
He further stated that with the blessings of Pujniya Acharyadeb ji, the State Government shall surely attain the vision of Transforming Tripura into a Model State.
