Tripura CM releases book on Gymnast Dipa Karmakar

December 31, 2018: Star gymnast Dipa Karmakar met Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb in his official residence in Agartala today. Dipa was accompanied by her father Dulal Karmakar and coach Bishweshwar Nandi .

Chief Minister released a book on Dipa Karmakar – covering her accomplished journey to inspire others in the path of excellence. He hailed the achievements of Dipa karmakar and extended his best wishes for 2019.

In a tweet, the Chief Minister said, “It was wonderful to meet our nation’s pride and #Tripura‘s daughter, @DipaKarmakar in #Agartala today. Her new book covering her accomplished journey shall be an inspiration for millions to pursue the path of excellence. Extended her best wishes for more success in 2019”.
