Ambassa, February 11, 2019: Police arrested two persons with heroin contained in two packets of worth Rs 3 lakhs from a number-less Maruti Van. The incident occurred on Sunday night. OC of Ambassa PS Himadri Sarkar led the Police force stopped the car and carried search operation. The owner cum driver of the vehicle, Ganesh Debbarma and his accomplice Dipen Debbarma of Ambassa were arrested with two packets heroin. Dipen was found heavily intoxicated. Police is investigating the case and trying to ascertain other persons involved the illegal drug-trade.
