In a well attended meeting, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma urged people to ensure victory for Congress candidates in ensuing Lok Sabha Polls for the sake of interests of indigenous people of the State.
He said, if Congress is voted to power, Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) will be permanently scrapped. He also assured that more power would be transferred to ADC, if Congress emerges winner.

During last Assembly polls, Congress received lukewarm responses from people – however, after Pradyot Kishore took charge of Tripura Congress, situation has changed drastically in favour of Congress.
