Agartala, April 20, 2019: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today came down heavily on Opposition Parties while addressing election rallies at Amarpur subdivision and Sabroom under East LS seat today.
Amid rousing welcome, Deb said, “Your Biplab Deb is committed for welfare of Tripura – I will be with you even after election is over.” Without naming anyone, Biplab Deb said, someone else will appear before people with false promises to create confusion among the people. He urged people to give opposition a befitting reply.
Speaking at Road show in Sabroom, Biplab Deb urged people to foil conspiracy hatched by Opposition and to ensure victory of BJP candidate – Rebati Tripura from East LS seat. He said, country is witnessing Modi Lahar and Opposition party candidates are set to forfeit their deposits. “BJP government is people’s government and government people’s co-operation is an absolute necessity for Samridhi of Tripura”, Deb asserted.
He also said that BJP government would not allow discremination in development. Listing out his Government’s initiatives, Deb said, “We have not suspended social pension scheme – but deleting names of ghost beneficiaries. In fact, our government has proposed to raise social pension to Rs 2000 in phased manner and has already increased it to Rs 1000”. Hailing Modi government’s welfare measures, Deb urged people to cast their votes in favour of BJP for ensuring development.
