Agartala, Jun 14, 2019: The Tripura Government is planning to set up a museum on Music composer and director RD Burman in the State. And, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb held a telephonic conversation with legendary singer Asha Bhosle in this connection.
BJP National secretary and State BJP Prabhari Sunil Deodhar also met Asha Bhosle today regarding the initiative of setting up Museum in Tripura. Deodhar greeted the singer with traditional ‘Risa’.
Terming the State as ‘the famous land of Pancham Da’, Chief Minister invited Asha Bhosle to visit Tripura.
In a social media post mentioned about the telephonic discussion with Asha Bhosle and said, “She has accepted the invitation on behalf of the 37 lacs people of Tripura. We have decided to build a museum to showcase the rich cultural heritage of renowned music composer and director late RD Burman. We have requested her to inaugurate and be associated with the memorable initiative”.
Chief Minister also thanked Sunil Deodhar for approaching her to this initiative.
