Sonkar said, “BJP will repeat the history of 2018”.  Notably, in 2018 Assembly Polls BJP-IPFT alliance wrested power from CPIM which ruled the State for 25 years on trot.

The party Prabhari later reached party headquarters and presided over an important meeting. Sources in the party said, Sonkar received feedback on the present political scenario of the party and also took stock of the party’s strongholds and weak points. He directed the Poll Committee to prepare a tentative candidate list, the source added.

Later, he left for Udaipur where he presided over several meetings.

“All the meetings are organizational and through these meetings, the workers of those select areas would be made aware of the party’s plans for expanding the organizational base. His(Sonkar’s) motive is to strengthen the party’s every unit before the urban local body polls and TTAADC elections so that the party can repeat its victorious performance like the 2018 assembly elections”, a source in the party said.

Meanwhile, a very crucial meeting is scheduled on January 08 the day he would leave for Delhi. Before his departure, he will preside over a meeting with the poll committee of TTAADC to discuss the party’s stakes for the polls in hills.
