Tripura is poised to witness a mega event as the India edition of the World Bamboo Day is all set to be held in the state in September next with an eye to promote bamboo-made products as well as crafts and the artisans.
Managing Director of Tripura Bamboo Mission Tarit Kanti Chakma shared the update on his official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, the event initiated by the PHD Chamber of Commerce will register participation of more than 20 states under National Bamboo Mission as well as international players. The focus will be on Northeast with 2/3rd bamboo production.

According to official sources, the event will take place on September 18 and 19 next.
