Strengthen Mamata Banerjee’s hand to save the dignity of Lal Jhanda, TMC leader Ritabrata Banerjee made a call to the Leftists in Agartala on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference, Bengal based TMC leader Ritabrata Banerjee who represented CPM in the Parliament prior to joining TMC said, “I appeal to all the Leftists in Tripura to strengthen Mamata Banerjee’s hand if they want to save the red flags. If Trinamool Congress comes to power, the opposition party offices will not be vandalized by bulldozers and nobody will damage Lenin’s statue. So, if you (leftists) want to save the dignity of the red flags (Lal Jhanda) then TMC has to be strengthened,”

Ritabrata Banerjeealong with Bengal Minister Chandrima Bhattacharjee arrived in Agartala today to oversee the organizational activities of TMC in Tripura.
Speaking to the media, Ritabrata Banerjee trained his guns on the BJP and alleged, total 13 vehicles used for TMC activities were vandalized in the state so far, several party workers including Subal Bhowmik were attacked, and false cases were filed against them.
Referring to Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb’s comment that some leaders of TMC were involved in cattle smuggling in West Bengal, Ritabrata Banerjee said such comment clearly indicates that BJP is losing ground.
Like other visiting leaders, he reiterated that TMC will form Committees up to booth level by December 31 next.
Meanwhile, TMC leader Sushmita Deb who is camping in the state and visiting districts, went to Amarpur under Gomati district today. She told the media that purpose of her district visit is to meet the party workers at the ground level and collect the feedback regarding building an organization here. She offered puja at the local Chandi Mandir and interacted with party supporters.
