Annual exams of Class-IX, XI from Dec 4
The annual examinations for the students of Class- IX and XI in Tripura would commence from December 04 next, said Education minister Ratanlal Nath.
While speaking to the media at his office chamber in the secretariat on Tuesday, Nath said the decision was taken followed by a meeting of the School Education department.
He said, according to the decision, the examinations would be conducted for 80 marks as per the earlier notification issued by the School Education department.
The Education minister also informed the media that a virtual meeting would be held with all the District Education Officers (DEOs) on Wednesday to discuss the preparations for conducting the exams.
Jal Jeevan Mission : Rs. 153.52 Cr released for Tripura
The Ministry of Jal Shakti has sanctioned grant-in-aid of Rs. 153.32 crore under Jal Jeevan Mission for Tripura on Tuesday.
The fund has been released for implementation of the scheme – to provide functional tap connection to every rural household and to take up associated support as well as water quality monitoring and surveillance activities.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has extended gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Sekhawat for releasing the fund.
“Much gratitude to the Union govt. led by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji & Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Sekhawat Ji for releasing Rs 153.52 Cr for #JalJeevanMission for #Tripura. With this grant, we will make sure that every household in Tripura gets a water connection,” he wrote on Facebook.
