Tiprasa Fest: Lucky Ali, Papon to perform
The Sports and Youth affairs department of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) will organize the ‘Festival of Indigenous TIPRASA-2021’ at Khumulwng Stadium in Agartala on December 19 and 20 next. Several programmes including Seminar and food fest etc have been arranged.
However, the biggest draw is that two Bollywood artists- Lucky Ali and Papon will also perform at the inaugural night of the festival.
Explore space, planets in Udaipur
Udaipur Science Centre now onwards will let the visitors to explore the three planets – Venus Saturn and Jupiter and lone natural satellite of Earth, the Moon every evening with the help of modern computers controlled telescope.
Tripura Astronomical Society handed over the strongest telescope of the state to the authority of Udaipur Science Centre.
Moreover, a space exploration programme will begin at the Udaipur Science Centre from December on 28 next. However, visitors have to buy tickets for the exhibition of space.
Deplorable road stirs resentment
The approach road of Sabji Bazar and Baba Loknath temple near Amarpur Supermarket is in precarious condition and resentment brewing among the local people.
According to sources, local people placed several pleas before the concerned authority to repair the deplorable road – the concerned authority reportedly has not taken any step in this regard so far.
Moreover, due to the deplorable condition of the road, vehicles carrying goods are also facing extreme difficulties
Besides, the annual festival of the Loknath temple will be held within few days, where thousands of devotees will come to attend the festival.
In view of this, local people are demanding to the concern authority to repair the road as soon as possible.
