Evolution of answer sheets of Term One examinations for the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary levels, conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Examination (TBSE), will start from January 12 next.

Speaking to the media in Agartala on Thursday, , president of TBSE Dr Bhabatosh Saha said the evolution process for both examinations will be held simultaneously. The Head of the institutions, scrutinizers and examiners will evaluate the answer sheets. As many as 4000 examiners will be engaged for this purpose, he said.

Dr Saha also said, from this year, the TBSE started conducting the examinations in Term 1 and Term 2 in line with the CBSE pattern to ensure the students’ career does not suffer in case of another spike in the Corona pandemic.

“Evolution of answer sheets of Term One examination for the Madhyamik will be held in five centers while that of the Higher Secondary will be held in two centers. As the total marks for the exams are 40, it is expected that the evolution process will be completed within 10-15 days. I am hopeful that results can be announced within January 2022”, Dr Saha said.

He also pointed out the processing of results will be held in TBSE maintaining complete secrecy.

“Term One of Madhyamik started on December 16 and ended on December 29 last. Examinations were held 77 centers across the State. Over 43,184 students from around 1073 schools registered for the examination. A whopping 93-99 percent of them appeared for the examinations. This is really a good sign”, Dr Saha opined.

The Higher Secondary Examinations will continue till January 7 next.
