In his quest to experience the uniqueness of India, a 25-year old youth of North Tripura has embarked on a cycle mission to travel across the country.

The youth – Asim Das – hails from Machli village at Longtharai Valley under North Tripura. He is keen to know about different linguistic, cultural and traditional patterns prevailing in different states across the country.

Das has started his journey on his bicycle from Agartala on Monday. Paddling through Assam-Agartala road, he reached Teliamura today evening.

While taking a break at Teliamura, Das interacted with the media. He said, I have a penchant to know and experience socio-cultural matters of different States – My country is so vast and it has so many variations in terms of cultural heritage, linguistic, customs.      

“I have made a firm decision to travel across the country to know and understand different cultures and customs of my country. Besides, I will let people of other States know about Tripura and its unique traditions, cultural practices and prevailing brotherhood among communities”, Das said.

“I am well aware of hurdles and challenges that I may have to face during my journey. However, I am a son of Bharat, so I will not stop exploring my country”, Das said and added several people who have already extended support and blessings. “I hope such cooperation and blessings will continue in coming days “, he exuded confidence.

Asim Das also revealed he is really dreaming big – and after completing the India tour on cycle, he will set his eyes for a world tour.
