The state government has decided to award “Chief Minister’s Civil Service Awards for Excellence in Public Administration” to the best performing departments, districts, blocks, Gazetted Officers and Non-Gazetted category on the Statehood Day on January 21 next.

 

Among the three best performing departments, National Health Mission (NHM) will be awarded for good performance in implementing schemes such Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karya’cram (RBSK), the Finance department will be awarded for implementation of e-Abagari and Forest department will be awarded for implementation of intensive plantation and water conservation including staggered contour trenching and mass awareness under Jal Shakti Abhijan.

 

Among the two best performing districts, Sepahijala and West Tripura districts will be awarded and among the three best performing blocks, Ambassa, Jubarajnagar and Salema blocks will be awarded for implementation of schemes like MGNREGA, PMAY-G, SBM, TRLM and various schemes at Panchayat level.

 

Among three best performing Gazetted Officers for good performance,Sepahijala DM & Collector Vishwasree V and OC of Development Section, 0/0 the Sepahijala DM & Collector Arindam Das will be awarded jointly for setting up of village library in 168 GPs/VCs under Sepahijala district with a record period of 20 days using CSR fund.

 

Managing Director of TRPC Ltd Prasada Rao Vaddarappu will be awarded for implementation of MSP, production of bamboo made bottles and broomsticks from Arjun flowers under Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Vikas Karyakram. CCF Amit Sukla and DCF S. Soorya Narayan will be awarded for improving eco-system through Forest Incident Reporting Module App enhancing fisheries through Aranya Jal Darpan App of SCATFORM.

 

Among three best performing Non-Gazetted category, Copier Machine Operator of Revenue department Tapas Choudhury, OS of GA (AR) department Sushi! Debbarma and Fishery Assistant of Fisheries department will be awarded for their good performance on the Statehood Day.

 

The best performing departments, districts and blocks will be given a certificate and trophy while Gazetted Officers and Non-Gazetted Officerswill be given a certificate and cash prize of 25 thousand rupees and 10 thousand rupees respectively. This was informed by Principal Secretary, Government of Tripura L.H Darlong in a press release.
