Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working with all the commitments and sincerities for the development of the country. The Prime Minister directed the Union Ministers to visit the states to know and address the local problems, said Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs John Barla who arrived in the state on Tuesday on a one-day visit.
John Barla said his visit to Tripura is to know about the condition of the minority communities as well as to get an idea about the prevailing issues.
State BJP general secretary Tinku Roy and other state BJP leaders welcomed him at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport in Agartala. Later, State BJP president and newly elected Rajya Sabha MP from Tripura Dr Manik Saha welcomed the MoS in the State Party Headquarters in Agartala. Both the leaders talked about various issues relating to the development.
MP from East Tripura constituency Rabetai Tripura also made courtesy visit and welcomed the visiting MoS.
On the same day, the Union Minister of State told the media that he had come to visit the state to fulfill the directions of the Prime Minister of the country and to understand the issues of problems of the minorities in the state.
