The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to win all of the 60 seats in the ensuing Assembly Polls in the State. The BJP-led Government walking along the path of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is working relentlessly for the welfare of the State – things have changed for good in the State due to the developmental initiatives of the BJP-led governments, said MoS for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik.

The MoS was addressing a joining programme on the National Panchayat Raj Diwas at Jangalia Vishwa Priya club ground under Rautkhala gram Panchayat in Bishalgarh on Sunday.

As many as 301 voters from 168 families joined BJP leaving CPI-M and Congress parties and the MoS welcomed them to the saffron camp. The programme was organized by BJP Bishalgarh Mandal.

Taking a swipe at CPM, Bhowmik said people had to run after the CPM leaders to avail benefits of government welfare scheme.

“Eligible beneficiaries would have to pursue the CPM leaders for endless time to get social benefits like Housing under the Central scheme. However, with the BJP-led government in power, the beneficiaries need to get recommendations from anyone – as the Prime Minister is sincerely ensuring to implement the welfare measures in a transparent manner”, Bhowmik said.

She listed several welfare schemes of the government including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and drinking water supply etc.

The MoS pointed out that the entire nation is making progress in the line with PM Modi’s vision is ‘Sab Ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas’ and the State government in Tripura is working in this direction for the overall development of the people of the State.

In this connection, she expressed hope that BJP would set up a record by winning all of the 60 seats in the upcoming Assembly polls scheduled to be held in 2023.
