Tripura Joint Entrance Examination results out
The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) announced results for the entrance examinations for 2022 on Wednesday.
The examination was held on April 27 last this year, where a total of 4739 candidates appeared for the examination whereas 2498 candidates appeared in PCM group and 4142 candidates in PCB group.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday the chairman of the board – Raja Chakraborty – announced the result of both the group and listed first three candidates for PCM and PCB.
In PCM group, Bibhabasu Debnath secured the first position while Mainak Pal and Argyadeep Saha secured second and third positions respectively. Parthib Roy topped in the PCB group, Mainak Pal and Shamik Saha occupied, second and third positions in PCB group. Mainak Pal secured second position in both PCM and PCB groups.
The examination was conducted for candidates seeking admissions into Engineering Degree Colleges, Medical Colleges, and other professional degree courses in Tripura.
The chairman of the Board said, candidates may get their results from http//tbjee.nic.in, http//tripura.gov.in and http//tbresuilt.tripura.gov.in. Besides, candidates may opt for SMS and in that they have to type TBJEE and roll no and send to 7738299899.
One held with 16 gold biscuits
One person was held with 16 gold biscuits from Agartala Maharaja Bir Bikram airport on Wednesday. CISF personnel handed over him to customs.
The CISF security personnel detained one passenger identified as Pallab Chowdhury before boarding a flight for Kolkata. The gold biscuits were recovered from his possession during the security search in the airport.
Soon after the recovery of the gold biscuits the CISF informed the customs, following which the customs officials rushed to the airport and recovered the gold biscuits. The Custom is currently investigating the case.
It is reported market value of the seized gold biscuits stands around Rs 90 lakh.
