Member of Parliament from East Tripura LS Constituency, Rebati Tripura held multiple programmes in Telangana on Thursday (June 30) in connection with the upcoming National Executive Committee meeting scheduled to be held on July 2 and 3 at Hyderabad.
Rebati Tripura took part in Sampark Abhiyan, organizational meetings, interacted with Handloom artisans and offered prayers at different temples on Thursday (Jun 30).
After reaching Warangal on Wednesday, he tweeted, “Upon arriving at Warangal district, welcomed by @BJP4Telangana party Karyakarta’s and had various conversations with them”.
On Thursday, the MP offered puja at Bhadrakali Mata Temple in Warangal,Telangana. He offered prayers at #ThousandPillar Temple in Hanamakonda, Warangal District.
About the temple, he tweeted, “Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is added to the tentative list of #Unesco World Heritage Site”.
Rebati Tripura also visited a Handloom artisan’s home in Peddamupparam Village, Danthalapalle, Warangal District, “who self-funds and runs the small factory.
He wrote in a tweet, “Had a round of talk with them and I urge #Telangana state government to do the needful and support them”.
He also received a representation from Village Handloom Artisans upon arriving at their handloom unit.
Taking part in organizational activities, the MP attended a booth committee meeting and addressed booth karyakartas of Dornakal Assembly Constituency today.
“Took part in an organizational meeting of all morcha’s on the initiative of @BJP4Telangana Maripeda Mandal Committee”, he tweeted.
In the evening he would visit Narsimhulapet Mandal where farmers and also other communities will interact with him at Chinnagudur zone. Tripura is also going to take part in the National Executive Committee meeting where all the BJP-ruled states’ Chief Ministers will remain present.
Ex-Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb also reached Telangana and held several party programmes there.
