Tricolour added glory and patriotic fervour to picturesque Dumboor Lake and Narkelkunja in Tripura as the country is celebrating the 75 years of Independence.

A Tiranga Rally was organized at Narkelkunja under Gomati District in Tripura – one of attractive tourist spot with serene natural beauty.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha took part in the Tiranga Rally there on Saturday.

Several boats decorated with tricolor of different sizes participated in today’s Tiranga rally. On a sunny day, with breeze flowing, the tricolor flags were flying high with full glory.

The Chief Minister was visibly found mesmerized with the view.

“Narkelkujna has every potential to become a world-class tourist destination,” the Dr Saha commented after his first visit to this beautiful tourist spot on Saturday.

Influenced by the beauty of nature, the Chief Minister said, the state government is committed to create modern infrastructure at Narkelkunja to attract the tourists from across the globe.

Besides, the state government is also working with priority to develop the state’s Tourism and generate employment opportunities.

He said, private helicopter service would be invited to provide service on this route.

MP Rebati Tripura, MLA Dhananjoy Tripura and MDC Bhumikananda Reang along with administrative officials were also present in the programme.

Common people of the area also participated in the rally with enthusiasm. The Tiranga Rally engrossed the picturesque Narkelkunj with patriotic zeal.
