Leaders of West Bengal CPIM’s Youth and student wings, Minakshi Mukherjee and Dipshita Dhar are campaigning hard in different places in Tripura to drum up support for Congress-CPIM nominated candidates for the ensuing State Assembly polls.

Both the leaders targeted the BJP government for ‘ruining future of unemployed youth and students’.

Mukherjee and Dhar held multiple meetings on Wednesday and introduced ‘some fresh air’ in the Left Front’s campaigns in Tripura.

“People of Tripura will sprinkle Red colours after the February 16 Assembly polls in the State”, exalted Mukherjee claiming that CPIM-Congress would be able to oust the BJP from Tripura.

Minakshi Mukherjee addressed poll campaigns at Belonia and Jolaibari in South Tripura. While CPIM lost the Belonia constituency, the party won the Jolaibari constituency in 2018.

Addressing the gatherings, she red flagged BJP’s pre-poll promise on employment and alleged the BJP tempted unemployed youth to vote for the saffron party by making false promise of 50,000 jobs per annum.

“Even as BJP failed to fulfill the promise relating to providing jobs – the Leftists would not fail. That is why we have promised 2.5 lakh jobs to unemployed youth”, Minakshi said.

She also thundered against unabated price hike which has put the middle class and lower income groups in serious financial troubles.

In another election rally at Khowai, SFI leader of West Bengal Dipshita Dhar on Wednesday criticize the BJP party. In a hard hitting speech, Dhar alleged that the BJP worked with its politics of hatred in Tripura which made the oppositions and general people victims.

“The BJP snatched the democratic rights of the people of Tripura during the past five years and unleashed innumerable attacks on the oppositions, burnt down party offices and created an ambience of fear,” she alleged.

Dhar appealed to the voters to oust the BJP to get rid of the politics of hatred. She urged people to vote CPIM-Congress for a new dawn full of hopes and aspirations.
