Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar who is on a two-day visit to Kerala, on Monday, met his school teacher who lives in Panniyannur Gram Panchayat in Kannur of the state.
The delighted Vice President writes on his twitter handle about his meeting with his Guru.
He remarked that the guidance and compassion of a Guru is a compass that steers the trajectory of one’s life.
Dhankar expressed his gratitude to have met his favourite teacher at Sainik School Nair at her residence and expressed his immense pleasure to have received her affection and blessings.

Seeing her student after so many years, Ratna Nair became extremely happy.
While greeting him, Nair told Vice President that there cannot be a better Guru Dakshina than this.
Nair remembered him as a young boy in khaki, sitting in the first row, fully concentrated in the class.
She said young Jagdeep was a very active, well-disciplined and obedient boy who excelled in all activities inside and outside the class.
