Over the course of time, the host of the popular show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC), Amitabh Bachchan, has been observed sporting various eye-catching outfits that have captured public attention.
From donning three-piece suits, bowties, and stylish scarves, to embodying an array of looks, fashion stylist Priya Patil has been the driving force behind ensuring that the beloved host of the television show looks effortlessly stylish each season.
With the imminent premiere of the show’s 15th season, viewers can anticipate some alterations to the gameplay as new elements are integrated.
Additionally, Priya will be curating Amitabh Bachchan’s appearance in line with the evolving fashion trends that the iconic star effortlessly carries off.
Discussing the changes in Bachchan’s appearance this season, Priya stated, “For the 15th Season of KBC, I aimed to infuse novelty and a sense of freshness into the look.
While preserving the classic essence, we have taken a step further by incorporating contemporary elements.”
“During this season, Sir will sport timeless three-piece suits, Bandhgalas, and Jodhpuris. However, I am introducing a ‘Colour Play’ concept that involves harmonizing contrasting shades.
To illustrate, the waistcoats will exhibit color combinations such as wine against navy, black and white, powder blue and navy, as well as various patterns including pinstripes with plains and checks with plains,” she elaborated.
Expanding on the details, she added, “I’ve introduced subtle yet distinctive features to his shirts, including contrasting collar piping, standout brooches, and lapel pins that enhance and complete the overall look.
In the case of classic Jodhpuris, we’ve incorporated a special draped effect akin to a shawl, and the ensemble is cinched together with an accompanying brooch.”
Reflecting on her experience of styling Amitabh Bachchan for KBC, Priya shared, “Sir (Amitabh Bachchan) is an icon, and I’ve imbibed numerous lessons from observing him throughout the years.
His commitment, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail have been ingrained in me and are evident in his attire.”
“I consistently emphasize that Sir doesn’t require a stylist; he epitomizes style himself. It’s not the clothes that define the man, but rather the man that defines the clothes. I’ve always maintained this belief. Regardless of what he wears, he transforms it into a trend, perpetually serving as an inspiration to every generation,” Priya added.
‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’ is slated for its debut on August 14th on the Sony network. (Edited)
