May 15,2017: In Assam, the Special NIA court in Guwahati will pronounce the verdict on terror funding at Dima Hasao district on 22nd of this month. The NIA has filed chargesheet against 14 persons in this case.
The special NIA court which was likely to issue verdict today, has sought a few clarifications by this evening from the agency. The agency registered a case in 2009 after it was found that fund meant for development works at Dima Hasao district had been diverted to militants for purchasing arms.
