May 31, 2017: Tripura Unit of BJP is all set to celebrate three years of Modi Government with massive outreach programme and campaigns. Addressing a Press Conference today, BJP leader Arun Kanti Bhowmik stated, Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan will arrive in the State tomorrow while Assam CM Sarvanand Sonowal reach the State on June 3.
In pursuance with “Sab ka Sath, Sab ka Vikash” slogan, Dr Harsh Vardhan will take part in Swachha Bharat Abhiyan at Teliamura in Khowai district on June 2 as part of the celebration. He will also address a meeting organized by Yuva Morcha and later hold a press meet. Later in the evening, Harsh Vardhan will leave the State.
Bhowmik said, followed by Vardhan’s state visit, Chief Minister of Assam, Sarvanand Sonowal will arrive at Agartala at 10am on June 3 and take a chopper ride to reach Santirbazar in South district. At Santirbazar will inaugurate ‘Modi Fest’- a mega outreach programme to demonstrate achievements and policies of Modi Government. After inaugurating the Fest, he will visit Tripureswari Temple and offer puja in the temple. Sonowal will also address a rally and public meeting at KBI School ground on the same date which will be followed by a meeting with the intellectuals and Yuva Morcha leaders.
In the evening after returning from Udaipur, Sonowal meet the media persons at Agartala and will hold meetings with State leaders at night. He will take a return flight to Gwahati on June 4.
BJP spokesperson also said, a host of union ministers and All India Party leaders including Finance Minister of Assam Hemant Biswa Sharma will visit State and attend in Modi Government’s three years in power celebration programmes, however he did not specify which Ministers are expected to visit and in which dates. Bhowmik said, intensive campaign will be conducted in six out of total eight districts in the State during the celebration.
