September 18, 2017: Chief Minister TR Zeliang has insisted that his Government is serious about checking corruption at all levels and sought public support towards ending it. Talking to reporters at his residential office at Dimapur yesterday, Zeliang said he has put in place a system to check corruption and cleanse the existing system. Stating that without a system, it would be impossible to check corruption, the Chief Minister said when he introduce a system, people should support it.

On various corruption issues that had raised for more than last ten years in the state, Zeliang wanted all to be pragmatic and opined that instead of living in the past, all should try to work for a better future.
