Data-driven decision system: Nirnay started in South Tripura District

In an attempt to instill a culture of data-driven decision-making, Nirnay has been launched in the South Tripura district through a half-day orientation workshop of district administration officials in Belonia in the South District. This training is a part of the initiative to ensure good governance in the district. Nirnay is a flagship project of the Sterlite EdIndia Foundation

 

Nirnay aims towards creating awareness about the utilization of data for decision-making as well as building the capacity of all relevant decision-makers around the use of visual dashboards.

 

Project Nirnay is going to support all district administrative officials in the district for inculcating a culture of data-driven decision-making.

 

The workshop was organized in Circuit House, Belonia in the presence of DM South Tripura, Saju Vaheed A, IAS and other districts well as department officials.

 

The workshop started with the introduction of the project objectives to the participants along with an inauguration ceremony.

 

Project Nirnay Team-oriented all officials about the visual dashboard created by the team for South Tripura district around Mukhyamantri Tripura Gram Sammridhi Yojana (MTGSY) and support under the project.

 

The DM South Tripura also pitched in during the workshop around his ideas about the utilization of a dashboard for smart governance.

 

The training ended with much enthusiasm amongst the officials around the utilization of this dashboard for effective monitoring of different parameters under MTGSY.

 

The participants mentioned that such kinds of dashboards will be very useful for informed decision-making and registered very positive feedback around the overall orientation program.

 

Earlier, the inauguration of District level Dashboard and workshop on project Nirnay "Sustainable data-driven decision-making system" was held Sepahijala District office in presence of District level administrative officials and others on a couple of days ago.
