Decks ready for concluding event of Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024 : Shreya Ghoshal to perform
The much-anticipated concluding ceremony of the Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024 is set to take place at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, with a dazzling performance by renowned playback singer Shreya Ghoshal.
The announcement was made by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury during a press conference held at Geetanjali Guest House on Tuesday.
The Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024, a celebration of the state's cultural heritage and tourism potential, commenced on December 3 at Narkelkunja and it was inaugurated by Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha.
The Promo Fest 2024 has drawn significant public attention and several noted artists of the State and other States performed and enthralled the audience.
Passes for Shreya Ghoshal's Concert :
To ensure public participation and smooth conduct of the musical concert of Shreya Ghosal, three categories of passes would be available, announced Chowdhury.
Starting on Wednesday, these passes will be distributed free of cost at the main office of the Tourism Department. While a limited number of VIP passes have been reserved, the majority will be allocated to the general public.
The minister emphasized that entry to the venue will be strictly regulated, urging attendees to arrive by 5 pm with valid passes. Priority seating in the front rows will be granted to those who arrive early.
Traffic and Parking Arrangements:
To facilitate smooth crowd management, SP (Traffic) Manik Lal Das outlined detailed traffic and parking arrangements. The road from the North Gate to the Town Hall will be designated for two-wheeler parking, while the Boys Bodhjung School and Pragati School fields will serve as temporary parking zones for other vehicles.
These measures aim to ease congestion and ensure a hassle-free experience for concertgoers.
The press conference was attended by Uttam Kumar Chakma, Secretary of the Tourism Department, and Prashanta Badal Negi, an officer with the department.
They expressed their excitement about the event’s potential to highlight Tripura’s rich culture and attract national attention.

The Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024 has been a resounding success, showcasing the state's unique offerings, from picturesque landscapes to its vibrant arts and crafts.
The grand finale, featuring Shreya Ghoshal, promises to be a memorable culmination of this cultural extravaganza, said Chowdhury.
