Dr Manik Saha led Tripura Government facilitates Life-Saving procedure for Rinki

In a heartwarming tale of compassion and effective governance, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and the Tripura Government have orchestrated a remarkable transformation in the healthcare sector, rekindling hope and ensuring improved access to quality medical services for the people of Tripura.

The recent case of Rinki Debnath serves as a testament to the government's exceptional support and commitment to the well-being of its citizens.

Rinki Debnath, daughter of Manku Debnath from Chittamara under Belonia Subdivision of South Tripura District needed a crucial pacemaker replacement procedure and her father approached the Chief Minister.

Thanks to the unwavering dedication and commendable efforts of the Tripura Government, under the astute leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, the girl is currently on a path to recovery, said her father. Rinki faced a critical medical condition that required a pacemaker replacement procedure, and it was the government's intervention that made all the difference.

Responding promptly to the heartfelt request made by Rinki's father, the Tripura Government, under the able guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Saha, extended its helping hand. Collaborating with the GB Pant Hospital and the Department of Cardiology at AGMC, the government successfully facilitated the complex Permanent Pacemaker implantation procedure.

Notably, what sets this apart is that the entire procedure was provided completely free of cost, courtesy of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) scheme.

The support of the Medical Superintendent at AGMC further ensured a smooth process.

As she made remarkable improvement in the path of recovery, Rinki was discharged from the hospital on May 22 last.

Chief Minister Dr. Saha's leadership and also as the Health Minister, has propelled Tripura's healthcare sector to new heights, positively impacting the lives of countless individuals.

 

His visionary approach and unwavering dedication have brought about transformative changes, ensuring that essential medical facilities and government assistance are readily accessible to people from diverse locations across the state.

Under the guidance of Dr. Saha, the health department has flourished as a hub of innovation and excellence, Health officials commented.
