Prati Ghare Sushason campaign in Tripura: Govt to deliver governance to the last person, says ICA Min

The main goal of the state government is to deliver good governance to the last person of the state. The state government has therefore launched Prati Ghare Sushason campaign. Minister of Information and Cultural Affairs, Sushanta Chowdhury said this in a press conference at the Secretariat on October 20.

 

In the press conference, Information and Cultural Affairs Minister and Department Secretary Dr. PK Chakraborty highlighted different works being done by the department. Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that Prati Ghare Sushason campaign has started from September 17 and will continue till November 30. Every important public welfare schemes and service of the state and central government have reached everywhere starting from Gram Panchayat or ADC village to block, city or urban local body, district level and Agartala Municipal Corporation. Every selected organization and different departments of the government have participated in this campaign to deliver all the schemes and services 100 percent to the people.

 

In a press conference, the Information and Cultural Affairs Minister said that the Information and Cultural Affairs Department is the nodal department of the Prati Ghare Sushason Campaign. As per the standard operating procedure, the campaign has started from the panchayat or village level first with Vikas Meeting. After that, camps are now being conducted in each panchayat, village and urban area to give all the services and facilities. District, sub-divisional and block level workers and officials are participating in each camp. Along with that, all the concerned departments of the government are present and working for delivering the benefit of the schemes and services. After that, the district level Sushason fair will start from November 10.  According to the information available, so far a total of 1,075 Vikas meetings have been completed at block, Council, city areas, gram panchayats and village levels and a total of 493 camps have been completed.

 

The Minister of Information and Cultural Affairs informed in the press conference that applications for admission to the 4 short-term courses at Tripura Film and Television Institute in collaboration with the Satyajit Roy Film and Television Institute of Kolkata were invited on September 20, 2022. There are 15 seats for each short term course. Applications received till October 17 are 27 in Screen Acting (8 weeks), 7 in Film Appreciation (4 weeks), 10 in Film Production Management (4 weeks), News Anchoring, Reporting and 13 in Newsroom Automation (4 weeks). After submitting the application forms, the admission process will be completed by October 30 after the scrutiny. He said that the target has been taken to start the first batch of classes at Tripura Film and Television Institute from the second Monday of November.

 

In the press conference, Secretary of Information and Cultural Affairs Department, Dr. PK Chakraborty presented the information received so far about the Prati Ghare Sushason campaign. He said that evaluation will be done after November 30 and the report card will be prepared by the first week of December.
