Egiye Chalo Sangha has once again etched its name in the annals of local football history by clinching the championship title for the fourth consecutive time.

The team showcased its prowess and resilience in a thrilling final match of the Rakhal Shield Knockout tournament against Ramkrishna Club, emerging victorious with a narrow 3-2 margin at Umakanta Maidan on Monday.

The title deciding final match of the Rakhal Shield Knockout Football lived up to its expectations. From the first whistle, Egiye Chalo Sangha displayed an aggressive approach, taking control of the match.

Their relentless offensive strategy paid off in the 23rd minute when Satyam Sharma, the star of the match, unleashed a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, sending the ball crashing into the back of the net.

This early lead set the tone for the remainder of the game.

Despite this, Egiye Chalo Sangha regained their advantage in the 27th minute when Shyam Kumar rose above the defense to head the ball into the net, making it 2-1.

As the first half drew to a close, Egiye Chalo Sangha continued to press forward, capitalizing on every opportunity.

In the injury time, their efforts were rewarded once again when Suraj Rasoli scored with a stunning header, extending their lead to 3-1.

The team entered the halftime break with a comfortable two-goal cushion, much to the delight of their supporters.

The second half saw Ramkrishna Club attempting to mount a comeback, but their efforts were thwarted by a disciplined defense and a crucial setback.

The match took a dramatic turn when both Suraj Rasoli and Henba Singh of Egiye Chalo Sangha were sent off after a heated altercation, reducing the team to nine men.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Egiye Chalo Sangha held their ground, showcasing their determination and tactical discipline.

Ramkrishna Club managed to pull one back through Pohor Jamatia, who found the net with a clinical finish making it 3-2.

However, their efforts were not enough to overcome the deficit. The final whistle blew with Egiye Chalo Sangha holding on to their 3-2 lead, securing the championship title once again.

Satyam Sharma, whose performance was instrumental in the victory, was rightfully awarded the Best Player of the Match.

His early goal and relentless energy throughout the game made him a standout figure on the pitch.

The victory was met with jubilant celebrations from Egiye Chalo Sangha’s players, coaching staff, and fans.
