A perfect blending of Swanirbharata along with cultural heritage and integrity can create a Sarva Shrestha society and ensure economic prosperity of a State. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said this after flagging off Sadbhabna Yatra 2021 at Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala on Thursday. The Sadbhabna Yatra was organized by Yuva Vikas Kendra and Tripura unit of National Integrated Forum for Artist and Activists (NIFAA).
Highlighting the importance of Sadbhabna Yatra, Deb said, “Everyone needs to have a clear idea about customs and culture of the country as this will strengthen bonds between people. Yuva Vikas Kendra members will tour across the State during Sadbhabna Yatra and highlight cultural heritage and customs of the State as well as get informed about rural areas of the country. This Sadbhabna Yatra will enrich our sense of integrity”.
Biplab Kumar Deb referred to the Prime Minister’s role as the bearer of Indian culture and said, the Prime Minister is constantly endeavoring to promote Indian tradition, customs and cultural heritage at the global arena.
“Earlier, Swami Vivekananda drew contours of Modern Indian and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to build up modern India in the idea of Vivekananda”, Deb commented.
Talking about the emerging situation, Deb said Corona has taught us several lessons. “People have learnt to nurture the mentality of Swanirbharata and in response to the Prime minister’s call – Vocla for local, people are working hard to become self-reliant”, he asserted.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma said, Integrity and solidarity are two prime strengths of the country. He hailed the Yuva Vikas Kendra and Tripura Unit of NIFAA for organizing Sadbhabna yatra. Among others, Janajati Welfare Minister Mebar Kumar Jamatia also wished success for the Yatra.
Notably, Sadbhabna Yatra has been held as part of celebration of Statehood Day of Tripura. The Yatra will be a 50-day long affair during which volunteers will interact with Governors, Ministers, eminent persons and people of different States and interact with them about cultural affairs and customs.
