Seeking justice for deceased fire fighter : Ruling BJP's alliance partner in Tripura holds rally
Ruling BJP’s alliance partner in Tripura, IPFT held rallies in several places across the State on Wednesday.
Party sources said, “IPFT activists submitted a deputation to the local administration in 34 divisions across the State in support of two-point demands. The list of demands consisted a one-time compensation of Rs 25 lakh to family members of late Fireman Biswajit Debbarma and a government job to the nearest kin of the deceased and conducting ADC polls at the earliest ”.
As part of the programme, activists of IPFT Gandachhera division under Dhalai district held a rally at Gandachhera and a 5-member delegation submitted the two-point demand list to the SDM.
In a joint initiative, supporters of Pekuajala-Janma Joynagar division and Takarjala-Jampuijala division held a rally and submitted a memorandum to SDM of Jampuijala sub-division.
On behalf of IPFT Maharani-Chelagang divisional committee under Gomati district, a four-member delegation submitted the two-point demand list to Police Officials of Bagma outpost.
With the initiative of the IPFT Amar Pur North Division Committee under Gomati district supporters have organized a mega rally at Ampi Nagar today and submitted the memorandum relating to the two-point demands to the BDO of Ampi nagar RD block. In a similar programme, IPFT delegates placed the memorandum to the Karbook SDM today.
Besides, IPFT activists carried out the programme in other places also.
