Stress on Govt Scheme implementation: CM tours South district, opens PHC
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb expressed his satisfaction on the implementation status of various schemes including Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Deb visited several places under South Tripura district and took stock of ground realities relating to Covid19 situation and implementation of government projects.
Later speaking to media, he said that he held discussions with officials and PRI representatives and happy about implementation of flagship Government schemes. In this connection, he also said, benefits of all the Government schemes must reach the intended beneficiaries - this instruction has also been given to concerned officials.
Meanwhile, as part of his visit to South Tripura, the Chief Minister has inaugurated a Primary Health Center at Kalachara and a Health and Wellness Centre at Sakbari ADC Village. The healthcare units will benefit the local people in receiving medical facilities.
As part of his visit, the Chief Minister held threadbare discussions with local body representatives on the implementation of various schemes and encouraged them to work with more dedication.
He also reviewed if the beneficiaries are receiving the assistance through Panchayats as announced by the Centre and State governments in view of the COVID19 pandemic.
Speaking to media after taking ground reports, the Chief Minister has expressed his satisfaction on the implementation status of various schemes including Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.
He also said an instruction has been passed to the officials concerned and local body representatives for cent percent implementation of the schemes more effectively.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister already paid review visits for multiple times covering various places in North Tripura, Unokoti, Dhalai, Khowai, Sepahijala and Gomati districts.
During his visit to South Tripura, the Chief Minister has also reviewed the latest quarantine status and administrative works.
The Chief Minister’s visit commenced from Rajapur Village Council and then covered Ekinpur Gram Panchayat, Rajnagar Gram Panchayat, Muhuripur Gram Panchayat, South Sonaichari Gram Panchayat, Sakbari ADC Village and Kalachara.
