Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha reiterated that the current government is taking the initiative to implement innovative programs for the welfare of the people.
Speaking at the inauguration of a milk product sales center at 61 Fair Price shop near Pragati Vidya Bhavan in Agartala, Dr Saha said from now on, Gomati dairy products will be supplied at fair price shops.
He said that as a pilot project in the initial phase, ice cream, curd, ghee, and cheese produced by the Gomati Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union will be sold through fair price shops.
The Chief Minister said that the government is working for the overall welfare of the people of the state. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is implementing various welfare projects.
The Prime Minister has emphasized strengthening the public distribution system of the country. With this objective, the state government has also taken various steps to strengthen the public distribution system of the state.
The goal of the government is the overall welfare of the people. The Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana (CMJAY-2023) has been launched on the lines of the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana with the aim of bringing every citizen of the state under the ambit of health insurance services.
He said that the Prime Minister has given special priority to the development of the northeastern states. The Act East Policy has been launched for the development of this region. In this, Tripura and other northeastern states are benefiting.
The Chief Minister said that the goal of the government is to take everyone along together. It will be possible to build a sixth Tripura, a better Tripura, only with the combined efforts of all.
Speaking on the occasion, Food Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that the current government is working for the welfare of the people of all sections. This government is a people-friendly government.
Cooperation Minister Suklacharan Noatia said that various items are now being provided at the fair price shops of the state. To this has been added the dairy products produced by the Gomati Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union.
Ratan Ghosh, Chairman of Gomati Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union, welcomed the gathering. Anandarup Bhattacharya, Chief Managing Director of Gomati Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union, proposed the vote of thanks.
