Tripura CM Dr Manik Saha Foresees End of TMC Rule in West Bengal

In a political rally in West Bengal, Tripura’s Chief Minister, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, drew parallels between the governance of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM), predicting an imminent end to the TMC’s rule.

Speaking at the Vijay Sankalp meeting held at Raidighi Bus Stand in the Mathurapur Lok Sabha Constituency, West Bengal, Dr. Saha recounted his experiences from the Tripura elections. He travelled over 8000 km and observed overwhelming support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) across the state.

Tripura-CM-West-BengalDr. Saha expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory in both the Tripura seats and in Mathurapur, citing the palpable enthusiasm among the crowds. He emphasized that the people’s support for Prime Minister Modi and the BJP was evident.

He criticized the current government for its divisive politics and focus on specific groups, contrasting it with the BJP’s inclusive approach of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’

The Chief Minister underscored the importance of the upcoming Lok Sabha election in strengthening PM Modi’s leadership and setting a course for the country’s development and foreign policy for the next millennium.

He pointed out that out of the 42 seats in Bengal, the BJP had won 18 in the last election and set a target to win around 32 seats this time, potentially exceeding this target.

Dr. Saha urged the youth to voice their opposition against misrule fearlessly. He stated that the results of the Lok Sabha election in Bengal would decide whether the TMC retains power. He criticized the TMC for replicating the CPIM’s governance style despite the people’s desire for change. He stressed that for genuine development, the country needs PM Modi’s leadership and the HIRA Model.

Lastly, he highlighted the peaceful conduct of elections in Tripura, setting an example for other states.
