The Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha, commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for elevating India's standing on the global stage during his tenure as the G20 Presidency. Dr. Saha highlighted that the G20 summit played a pivotal role in establishing Bharat as a leading force – Vishwaguru - on the world stage.
Dr. Saha, who participated in the G20 dinner hosted in New Delhi on Saturday, attributed the successful visits of G20 delegates to various Indian states, including Tripura, to the diligent efforts of Prime Minister Modi.
Upon his return to Agartala on Sunday evening, Dr. Saha extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Modi for his successful stewardship of the G20 Presidency, which also saw Tripura hosting the S20 summit.
Earlier he wrote on social media handle, "I heartily Congratulate our beloved & diligent Prime Minister of Bharat Shri Narendra Modi Ji for the successful hosting of the momentous #G20SummitIndia. Through this summit, the delegates travelled to different parts of our country including #Tripura & experienced the vibrant culture & 'unity in diversity'. I thank & salute you on behalf of all the sisters & brothers of #Tripura for taking up the pride of Bharat to next level."
Speaking to the media, Dr Saha asserted, during Modi’s G20 Presidency, the Prime Minister effectively showcased Bharat's rich cultural heritage from diverse regions of the country and emphasized the ‘one product, one district’ vision. He also globalized the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’, Dr. Saha said.
Dr. Saha expressed his belief that Prime Minister Modi has demonstrated that Bharat is on par with other nations in various fields, dispelling any notion of lagging behind.
A significant achievement of the G20 summit was the inclusion of the African Union as a permanent member of the G20, which Dr. Saha attributed to the determined efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Furthermore, Dr. Saha mentioned the India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor, foreseeing substantial benefits arising from its development.
