On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 73rd Birth anniversary on Sunday, an array of programmes was held in Tripura today.
Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha offered puja and prayed for the wellness of the Prime Minister. In observance of this special day, Chief Minister Dr. Saha visited several institutions, including a Senior Citizen's Home, an Orphan's Home, and a Home for Divyang (differently-abled) individuals located in Narsinghar, Agartala.
During his visits, Dr. Saha engaged with the residents and inquired about the amenities provided in these homes. He also took the opportunity to inform them about various initiatives undertaken by the Modi-led government aimed at improving the welfare of marginalized sections of society. To add a touch of festivity to the occasion, he distributed fruits and sweets among the residents.
BJP State leaders and Ministers also took part in different programmes across the State held to mark the birthday of the Prime Minister today. A blood donation camp was organised by the Banamalipur Yuva Morcha in Agartala on Sunday afternoon. The camp held at Nazrul Kalakshetra was attended by the BJP state president, Rajib Bhattacharjee, BJP Pradesh general secretary, Amit Rakhit, TTDC chairman, Santosh Saha and several others.
The Pabiacherra Mandal Committee of the BJP under the leadership of BJP MLA Bhagaban Das organised Namo Vikas Utsav in the PWD ground of Kumarghat sub-division on Sunday to mark the 73rd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The former Chief Minister and presently the Rajya Sabha MP from Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb inaugurated the day-long programme.
Minister Shuklacharan Noatia, MLA Mailafru Mog, BJP Youth Morcha Pradesh Committee president and TIDC Chairman Nabadal Banik and others attended a blood donation camp organized to mark the 73rd birth anniversary of Narendra Modi at Pilak under South Tripura District.
Members of BJP's Amarpur Mandal Yuva Morcha organized various programmes in Amarpur to mark the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In Sonamura, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, worshipping, fruit and sweets distribution among the poor and needy and other programmes were held on Sunday. Besides, a legal awareness camp was held at ward No. 9 of the Nagar Panchayat.
