Tripura CM meets Shah, Nadda: AR Land issues, Bru rehab discussed

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National president J.P. Nadda in the national capital on Tuesday.

 

During his interactions with the Home Minister and the BJP president, the Chief Minister held discussions on various important issues including Assam Rifles land issues, latest development of Bru settlement and opening of a Sainik School.

 

Biplab Kumar Deb also reported to have discussed the strategies and possible candidates for the by-elections to four assembly seats - Agartala, Bordwali, Surma and Jubarajnagar - which are likely to be announced soon.

 

In a facebook post, Deb wrote, “It was an honour to meet with Hon'ble Home Minister, AdarniaShri Amit Shah Ji. Apprised him about the development of Bru Rehabilitation in Tripura. Along with this, informed him about the obstacles being faced in the opening of Sainik School in the state.”

 

He also mentioned, “The land issue of Assam Rifles was also discussed. He assured all help from the central govt. Much gratitude to him for his continuous support for the development of #Tripura.”

 

During his Delhi visit, Deb also met party’s national president J.P. Nadda on Tuesday and apprised him about the development works being undertaken in the state.

 

“Delighted to meet with, BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP), National President, AdarniyaShri J.P. NaddaJi. Apprised him about developmental works of #Tripura govt being done under guidance of Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
