Tripura Guv Stresses Role of Education in Nation-Building at Bhavan's Principals' Conference

Education is the cornerstone of a nation’s progress, said Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu while inaugurating the All India Principals’ Conference of Bhavan's Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools.

The event, organized at the Kulapati K.M. Multipurpose Hall of Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir, highlighted the transformative role of education and the responsibilities of educators in shaping the future of the nation.

"The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was introduced with the vision of making India more prosperous and self-reliant," he said.

He urged teachers and school leaders to take proactive roles in implementing the policy effectively, ensuring that students receive quality education that equips them for global challenges.

Highlighting the importance of holistic learning, the Governor called upon the principals of Bhavan's schools to encourage innovation and foster academic excellence among their students.

“Every student of Bhavan's should be empowered to excel and leave a mark in the world of education,” he remarked.

The conference also featured notable speakers, including Yogesh Pratap Singh, the Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Tripura; Debashis Chakraborty, the Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Agartala Center; Rakesh Saxena, the Director of Shiksha Bharati, Mumbai; and Jagadish Lakhani, the Joint Executive Secretary of Shiksha Bharati, Mumbai. Swapna Som, Principal of Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir, delivered the welcome address.
